Is Procrastination Controlling Your Life?
One of the major contributors to self-sabotage is procrastination. We’ve all done it occasionally here and there. But if you consistently engage in this toxic habit, it can and will destroy your attempts at success, your health, and your life!
Procrastination may seem somewhat harmless, however, the fact is that procrastination always has consequences – and they are usually negative. While it is true that the consequences of procrastinating washing the dishes are very different from the consequences of procrastinating paying the bills, it is also true that procrastination in any area of your life can find a way to impact your emotional success which will, in turn, affect your career, relationship, health, and goal accomplishment.
Analyzing the consequences will rarely help you to create positive change. However, when you move yourself backward through the behaviors that created the consequences it is much easier to recognize the self sabotage barriers, and it becomes easier to make changes that create significantly new (and better) consequences.
You don’t have to be at the mercy of your existing internal processes. Change is possible!
