It’s no secret that Ciara and her ex-fiance, rapper Future, have a messy relationship. They have a son together, Future Zahir Wilburn, and the custody battle has now come to an end. Earlier this week, a California judge denied Ciara’s request for sole custody of baby Future.
Ciara told the court that Future wasn’t a good or present father, but the judge awarded her ex joint custody of their child. Future has been very vocal on social media and even in his music about Ciara, which lead to a $15 million defamation lawsuit. Ciara claims the words Future spoke about her were a publicity stunt for his album at the time. The defamation case is ongoing, but it’s believed the custody ruling will only help Future’s case.
Ciara recently got engaged to Seattle Seahawk’s quarterback Russell Wilson. Baby Future will be turning two this week. Read more on the story here.
