16 Hospitalized After St. Patrick’s Day College Party

At the University of Pittsburgh, a St. Patricks party turnt into a day full of chaos after a porch roof collapsed.

A total of 16 people were taken to the hospital, including three who had serious injuries. All 16 are expected to survive. One witness stated that there were about 30 people of the roof before it tumbled down. A Pitt student commented saying the house had a similar party last year without any injuries.

The University of Pittsburgh sent out a memo urging that students stay off roofs as they celebrate the Irish holiday. St. Patricks Day is typically a very popular holiday in the city of Pittsburgh.
