James R. Darty was born on January 8, 1941, to Mr. A.C. Darty and Winnie Darty in Algood, Tennessee. James is the fourth child of seven children; two of his siblings have gone home to be with the Lord. James accepted his call to the ministry when he was twelve years old while attending Pentecostal Temple C.O.G.I.C.; he was able to preach but was too young to be licensed. James is a very hardworking man; he was employed at Chrysler Corporation for thirty-six years, and supervisor for twenty-eight of those years until retirement. The employees referred to him as “The Preacher Man!” James Darty majored in theology at Aenon Bible College in 1974-1975; he received an Associate Degree in Business Management at Chrysler Institute in Michigan; he received his Minister’s License from Church of God in Christ on July 26, 1981; he received his Certification of Ordination on July 24, 1983; he received acknowledgment and awarded for being a faithful YPWW Teacher on December 8, 1985; he served as the Assistant District Superintendent of Central District for 5 years, and he was installed by Bishop B.A. Sanders as the District Superintendent of the James L. Sanders Memorial District on January 23, 1999, where he served for 24 years; and last but certainly not least, he was appointed as Administrative Assistant on April 2, 2005. James Darty has been a dynamic pastor; superintendent, administrative assistant, husband, father, brother, preacher, teacher, leader, and godly example for his members and the community to follow. Pastor Darty does not push his beliefs upon anyone; instead, he adheres to the Word of God through the Holy Bible. Pastor always lends a helping hand to anyone in need and demonstrates the true characteristics of the Fruit of the Spirit and a life of holiness. Pastor Darty is determined and committed to the ministry of Greater Solid Rock C.O.G.I.C., he desires to press toward the vision the Lord has inspired in him. Pastor James R. Darty is a chosen vessel of God with purpose and direction! Pastor Darty has been laboring in the vineyard for 35 years and inspired by God to continue to lead God’s people in the right direction!

Pastor Eric L. Wiggins is an anointed and faithful preacher and teacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  A former executive, he accepted his call from God to preach in 1997, under the discipleship of Pastor Jeffrey A. Johnson Sr., Legacy Pastor of the Eastern Star Church.  In obedience to God’s call, Pastor Wiggins committed to ministry full time in 2004 and New Horizons Church opened its doors on September 10, 2006 under his leadership.  Since then, New Horizons Church has been changing lives and impacting the community, with God’s message of love and hope.  New Horizons Church is home to over 1,000 people and provides discipleship through over twenty dynamic ministries.  With sound teaching and biblical stewardship of resources Pastor Wiggins led New Horizons Church to purchase and occupy a church home, debt free!  Pastor Wiggins boldly declares the Gospel in messages that uplift, encourage, and edify all who hear.  He presents the Word of God so that people can act on what they have heard and receive what God has for them.  Pastor Wiggins is a devoted husband to his wife Camille, and a loving father of four adult children.
