Dr. Clyde Posley Jr. has been the Senior Pastor of the Antioch Fountain of Grace Baptist Church in
Indianapolis, IN, over 25 years. In the Indianapolis area, Dr. Posley is well known for using God’s word to
bring unity among diverse cultures and groups, particularly within settings where racial tension has hindered
urban ministry. To this end, Dr. Posley has initiated several ministries designed to sow unity throughout this
timespan including: The Antioch Compassion and Care Homeless Initiative and Neighborhood Market, the
Fountain of Grace Food Pantry, The Kingdom Men of Excellence Men’s Ministry, The Excellence in Flight Youth
Inner-city Summer Camp, and the Elite Childcare Academy Pre-K and daycare ministry to name just a few.This multi-talented man of God has been a highly sought-after evangelist, instructor, conference speaker, radiotalk show host and forum panelist for over thirty years throughout the mid-west and the United States.
Dr. Posley has worked as an adjunct professor, teaching courses which includes Homiletics, New Testament
Survey, Theological Foundations for Urban/Inner-city Ministry Structure and Development, Critical Race
Theory in the thought of Derek Bell and Political Science in Urban Settings. He has also served as a visiting
Social Science and Cultural Studies lecturer at several universities including Indiana University, Bloomington,
IN; Martin University, Indianapolis, IN; and Union Institute and University, Cincinnati, OH (his doctoral alma
mater).
Dr. Posley has written diversity and inclusion training instruction material for several fortune 500 companies.
He is the founder of Diversified Hope Education Systems, writing diversity and inclusion curriculums for K-12
staff and students. Dr. Posley has written several other important literary works relative to the African
American condition and social justice in the US and where they intersect with theology and the Bible.
Dr. Posley is the author of the critically acclaimed book: More than Icons and Images: Uncovering the Hidden
Protest Narrative of the Black American Athlete in the 21st Century. The book is a qualitative exploration of
the 1968 medal-stand protest of Tommie Smith and John Carlos. It grapples with how the actions of the
two men contextualized modern-day athletes fighting oppressive social domination. This book was featured
on C-Span during a national Black Author’s spotlight of up-and-coming social justice thinkers held in
Washington, D.C. in 2019.
Dr. Posley is the sitting Moderator of Union District Baptist Association of Indianapolis, IN, the largest of the
five Missionary Baptist Districts in the State of Indiana, where he has oversight of 36 – 40 churches. Before
becoming Moderator of Union District, Dr. Posley was the former president of the Pastors and Ministers
Division of Union District Baptist Association. As president, Dr. Posley authored a comprehensive ministerial
training curriculum designed to prepare Christian ministers for pastoral leadership and administrative
structure, entitled: Union District Association Pastors and Ministers Conference Ministerial Certificate Program.
Dr. Posley is a certified instructor of the Congress of Christian Education, National Baptist Convention, USA,
Inc. He is also an instructor in the National Baptist Convention Publishing Sunday School Board C.O.P.P.
program. Dr. Posley; in a nationally certified Dean of the National Baptist Sunday School publishing board,
formally served as the coordinator of the Racial and Social Justice Division of the Union District Baptist
Association of Indianapolis, IN. Additionally, he was the founding senior editor of the Union District
association’s quarterly newsletter entitled: The Union District Voice.
Dr. Posley is active in both community activism and civic advocacy. As chairman of the IMPD (Indianapolis
Metropolitan Police Department) General Orders Board, he is the nation’s only African American civilian
majority leader of a major metropolitan police policymaking board, within a city with a population the size of
Indianapolis.
Dr. Posley served three terms as Executive Chaplain for Zeta Phi Chapter of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity,
Inc. in Indianapolis, IN. Additionally, Dr. Posley currently serves as Executive Chaplain for Pink-4Ever breast
health education servicing organization, servicing the greater Indianapolis area. Dr. Posley is also the former
host of his weekly podcast: Moves That Matter, with Dr. Clyde Posley Jr., PhD. He concurrently hosts the
weekly morning devotion entitled: Tuesday Morning Grace with Dr. Clyde Posley.
Dr. Posley has earned a Ph.D. in interdisciplinary studies from Union Institute and University, in Cincinnati,
OH, with concentrations in Humanities, Cultural Studies and M.L. King Scholarship and Narratives. The North
Central National Accrediting Body certifies this PhD. He also holds a M.A. in Urban Ministry and
Development and a bachelor’s degree in religious studies and theology. His 2015 dissertation is entitled: The
Embodiment of The Black Male Student-Athlete: A Case-Study of the 1968 Medal Stand Protest and is available
on ProQuest International Research Network which houses all nationally accredited PhDs completed in the
United States and abroad. He has also been awarded an Honorary Doctorate in the field of Social Justice
from Habakkuk Bible College in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Posley and his wife DiJeana have four children and three
grandchildren. -

The son of the late Elder Cecil E. and Mrs. Uniastine Golder, husband of Barbara (Scott) Golder, together they have three sons and one daughter.
As a child Donald held a special place in the hearts of his family, and captured the love of many that he came in contact with. He was saved and began his music ministry at a very young age. It was also then he began singing and directing choirs.
Bishop Donald Golder is a graduate of Shortridge High School and attended Martin University, Ball State University and University of Phoenix. He is currently enrolled in Newburgh Theological Seminary. Prior to being called to full-time ministry his regular occupation for 20 years was in the healthcare industry, with 15 years as a Health Facility Administrator. He received an “Honorary Doctorate Degree of Music” from the International Apostolic University of Grace and Truth. He serves on the board of the Indianapolis Ten Point Coalition. He serves as a Chaplain for the Marion County Sheriff’s Department. He is a songwriter, and a gospel-recording artist. His experience in the recording industry allowed him the opportunity to know and perform with many national recording artists. He founded the group, “The Pentecostal Ambassadors” with them he recorded four albums and traveled throughout the nation. He was also minister of Music for the “Indiana State Mass choir” by them two recordings was produced. They’re recordings was listed on the prestigious Billboard charts. Bishop Golder has ministered at the prestigious “Potter’s House” in Dallas, TX. Pastored by Bishop T.D. Jakes.
With positive role models in his life, Donald has been chosen to live a life of sanctity. His father the late Elder Cecil E. Golder Sr. served as the pastor of the Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, Little Rock, AR. and his uncle the late Bishop Morris E. Golder, founder of Grace Apostolic Church, Indianapolis, IN. was his pastor.
Bishop Golder ran from the call to preach for many years. He finally yielded to the voice of the Lord and preached his first sermon in September 1993. In 1998 God called him to evangelize fulltime throughout the nation, prior to accepting the call to pastor.
Bishop Golder is the founder and pastor of Temple of Praise Assembly of the Apostolic Faith, Indianapolis, IN. They’re first service was on November 18, 2001. After one year in ministry the church purchased a 30,732 square foot building; one year later, they burned the mortgage. Since its inception, Temple of Praise has become a shining light in the Indianapolis community, offering many programs that not only help the body of Christ, but they reach out to the community as well.
Bishop Donald L. Golder currently holds license and credentials through the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. He also served as the General Secretary and Director of Protocol and Ecclesiastical Order for the organization. In November 2003 he was elevated by his diocesan, the late Bishop James E. Tyson to serve as “District Elder” in the Indiana State Council. In 2006 he was elevated to serve as “Suffragan Bishop” to Haiti, under Bishop Joseph Montinor. In 2017 he was elevated to the esteemed office of Bishop, and was assigned to serve as the diocesan bishop of the 25th Episcopal District, Nevada District Council.
